Education in the Botanical Realm

The origin of the word 'education' is from the Latin root educate. 'Educare' means 'to lead out or bring forth' β€˜

Education is about discovery, not consumption.

Taj Scicluna, Botanical Educator

My work as an Educator is based on inspiration, awe, innovation & creativity - I seek to draw things out, rather than force knowledge in, honoring the innate intelligence of all beings.

I believe everyone has the ability to learn and seek wonder, enamoured with the medicine of the moment, that presence and spark that allows us to feel connected and part of something greater than ourselves.

I see Education as a seed; I offer what I have learnt and experienced to you.

I share the joy of being awe-inspired by the botanical world, it is up to you then to nurture this seed, however you like, with your personal touch.

The learning then continues beyond my teaching - you carry the seeds of inspiration with you and keep going.

I think Education is a Revolutionary Act.
